Sweet Card Idea for Cricut-Strawberry Jam Jar SVG

There’s something about a sweet little jar of strawberry jam that feels like summer—and I couldn’t resist turning that idea into a layered SVG design!

This Strawberry Jam Jar SVG includes a jar, a decorative topper, a label, a bow, and a tiny strawberry with blossom detail. It’s perfect for adding a handmade touch to your cards or scrapbook pages. This SVG works with Cricut, Silhouette, and other cutting machines that use the SVG format.

Card Idea: “You’re the SWEETEST”

For my first project, I created a simple card using this design and added the sentiment:

“You’re the SWEETEST”

I used the pen tool in my Cricut Maker to write the sentiment directly onto the card front. Be sure to filter for “Writing” in the text panel.

This would be perfect for:

  • Birthdays
  • Thank you cards
  • Thinking of you
  • Just because
  • Mother’s Day

A Note About Size & Assembly

This design does include some smaller pieces (like the blossom, bow, and strawberry), so keep that in mind when sizing and cutting your design.

Helpful tips:

  • Use a fine-tip glue or glue pen for precise placement
  • A tweezer or pick-up tool makes handling small pieces much easier
  • If you prefer, you can resize the design larger for easier assembly
  • You can also print and cut for a really simple addition to your projects.

Scrapbook Idea: Sweet Summer Memories

This design would really shine as a scrapbook embellishment!

Try using it on:

  • Farmers market layouts
  • Summer memory pages
  • Garden or canning themes
  • Recipe or kitchen spreads
  • Mother’s Day Pages

For scrapbooking, I recommend sizing the jar around 3–5 inches tall so it stands out as a focal element.

Layer it with:

  • Tags
  • Doilies
  • Patterned paper
  • Additional fruit or greenery

Cardstock Ideas for the Strawberry Jam Jar SVG

I used solid cardstock (ASTROdesigns) for my sample, including papers from the Pastel Starter Pack and Bold & Vivid Colors. I really like how the lighter-weight Astrobrights works for layered designs like this—it keeps the project from getting too bulky while still giving a clean, finished look.

This design is also a great excuse to play with patterns!

For the jar topper, patterned cardstock really stands out. Try:

  • Gingham for a farmhouse feel
  • Polka dots for something fun and playful
  • Florals for a soft, vintage look

Don’t forget about embossing as an option.

The jar topper is the perfect place to add a little extra personality.

Final Thoughts

I’m really happy with how this design turned out—it’s one of those versatile pieces you can use again and again in different ways.

Whether you’re making a heartfelt card or building a layered scrapbook page, this little jam jar adds the perfect “sweet” touch.
