Crafting a Floral Stenciled Card with Cricut
Hello to all my card crafting friends! In this blog post, I’m sharing with you a floral, stenciled card made with my Cricut and a few simple supplies. As a lover stencils and bright colors, I think this card turned out better than I imagined. It’s been awhile since I shared a Cricut Card on the blog but there are more cards in my Cricut profile. I hope you enjoy this one!

Card Design and Assembly
The focal point of this quick and easy card is a single flower stencil image. Glam SVG by Emylia created the image that I found while searching for images in Cricut Design Space. For the challenge I’m participating in, I created a bold, black “Hello” sentiment with the “Double Whipped” font from my Cricut Access subscription.
I reached for my arsenal of Distress inks and sponge daubers to breathe life into the blank white panel that I cut with my Cricut. This panel and the card stencil, were created from my favorite 110# cardstock.
The three colors I used for my card were Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry, and Mustard Seed.
I adhered each layer together using tape runner, trying to make sure each element was centered. For the finishing touch, I used a dab of liquid adhesive to adhere the details – the bold “Hello” and the butterfly. Be careful with adhesive. I forgot how a little goes a long way. I had a little bit of noticeable squeeze out, so I’ll try to do better on the next one.
No card is complete without a personal touch. What’s a bright floral card without a whimsical butterfly fluttering nearby? For a little life, I used a Sakura white gel pen for some detail to the wings and center of the flower.
Sharing my Card
I couldn’t resist sharing my floral stenciled card with the world. You and find it in my Cricut Design Space profile, and make it for yourself. I also decided to share it in the Word Power Challenge found HERE.
With every new project I find simple joy and relaxation. Crafting is not merely a hobby – it’s a way of life. So, here’s to spreading some crafting joy, one handmade card at a time.
Until next time, happy crafting!
