Learn How to Make Lovely Home Decor from a Dollar Tree Plate
Dollar Tree Fall Decor Plate
Cutting Oramask stencil vinyl with the Silhouette Cameo is a breeze. In addition, I absolutely love the crisp, clean lines that can be achieved with using it. I was working on another sign, had a small scrap of Oramask left from trimming, and I knew just the place I wanted to try it. I wasn’t sure it would work, but it was well worth the risk.
(Keep in mind that this is a project for decorative purposes only and not for use in serving food.)
First I’ve applied my Oramask stencil. Then I used some cheap shelf liner to mask the rest of the plate. You really need to do this so that you don’t have over spray on the rest of the plate, however, masking tape and paper would also work.

I had black Rust-Oleum from another project.
Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover Paint
I sprayed a few quick, light coats… leaving about 10 minutes to dry in between.
Painting the Plate
I allowed the paint to dry completely and removed the stencil. There you have it!
Finished Home Decor Plate
I’m very happy with it. The lines are nice and crisp with no paint bleed and it’s a nice addition to my hallway table.
