Card Details:
- Base & Layers: I started with a classic A2 card base. For the first layer, I cut a light blue cardstock rectangle measuring 4″ x 5.25″. The second layer was cut from white cardstock and embossed for texture. This layer measures 3.75″ x 5″.
- Lattice SVG: The focal point of this design is the rounded rectangle lattice cutout, which measures 1.436″ x 4.231″. However, you can resize it to fit any project! The lattice adds an elegant touch and creates a beautiful backdrop for the little floral arrangement. You’ll need adhesive with a fine application tip to adhere this element to your card.
- Floral & Greenery: Included in the SVG file is a whimsical six-petal flower with an oval center and two pieces of greenery. I positioned the lattice to the left of the card front and placed the flower near the bottom, tucking the greenery at angles beneath the flower for a balanced look.
- Sentiment: To complete the card, I designed my own Happy Birthday sentiment in Silhouette Studio and adhered it to the front with foam dimensional adhesive.

Endless Possibilities
What I love about this design is its versatility! While I created this as a birthday card, this layout works beautifully for:
- Anniversary
- Sympathy
- Thank You
- Congratulations
- Thinking of You
I’m sure there are many other sentiments that you could create, or even use stamps to add a sentiment to your card.
You can totally make this card your own! Simply change the cardstock colors, adjust the sentiment, or even add embellishments like pearls or rhinestones for a personalized touch.
You might also consider ways that you could use this SVG in another project, like adding flowers to an acrylic bookmark, or creating another lattice card with different flowers.
