Good Monday Morning to you! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We celebrated our grand daughter’s 2nd birthday yesterday. Very fun!

I’ve been working on a little project here this morning to work up some simple Christmas card designs. I demonstrated my basket weaving at an area assisted living facility in October, and I was invited back to do card making in a couple weeks. I used the Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge to help me get things rolling today. My theme from the Tic, Tac, Toe board is “red, glitter and snowflakes”.

This is an A2 card background cut down to 3 1/4 inches wide. Each of the three little rectangles on the left are 1 1/2 x 1 7/8 inches. I used a corner rounder on just one side. The red card front was embossed in my Cuttlebug with a snowflake embossing folder. I created the little banner on a 3/4 inch piece of white cardstock that was trimmed from the side of the card and stamped it with a stamp from Santa2Stamp set from Stamps of Life.

All the card stock and patterned paper is from the October Stamps of Life card kit. The brads are from Creative Impressions. For my glitter element I used Star Dust Stickles on some of the embossed snowflakes, although I might have to experiment with something that shows up a little bit more. That’s half the fun, right?

Thanks for joining me today. Hope you’ll check out all the neat cards at Paper Players!
