Retrosketches #163

Simple is good. Simple is even better when one is feeling a bit under the weather and when my little buddy “Scoot” (grandson) is here and wants me to sing Itsy Bitsy spider, has lost his socks for the Nth time and wants to find every non-kid proof thing in the house. That’s when simple is good!

Today I decided to do the Retrosketches Challenge and the Operation Write Home May ODBD Challenge. While Scoot is happily exploring I decided to share what I’ve done here today. I’ll clean up the table when I get around to it. As long as it’s before supper, right?

I liked this challenge. (Remember simple is good) I decided to use a Darice embossing folder as my base. This is one of the folders I’ve bought and really not used. Nobody has stuff like that, do they? At the last minute I decided to layer it just a wee bit with some Pear cardstock. I also used patterned papers from Close To My Heart Whimsy and Blossom.

Well, Scoot has decided to play librarian. If librarians eat books, we’re good. If not we’re in trouble.  Hope you have a wonderful day and see you next time!
