Vintage Typewriter Romantic Card

I love vintage typewriters and so this was a fun card to make. The inspiration actually came from Paper Crafts Magazine May/June 2013 that I picked up from our local library.

Here are the typewriters that I used.

1. Left: From Old Design Shop
2. Middle: From Old Design Shop
3. Right: From Old Design Shop

I copied these into MS Word and printed them out on kraft cardstock in “almost” black. Various other designer papers complete the card. At the top of the middle card I used an x-acto knife to cut an opening for my typewriter paper. Later I found that I have a better paper for that, and a different idea for the embellishment. More on that later…

So Sweet Baby Card

I couldn’t resist this cute baby in the tub with her duck that I found on Old Design Shop. All the images in the collection are from a 1914 issue of The Ladies’ World magazine and all of them are amazing. I can’t wait to try them all. Getting the card to come together with my “what do I have on hand” philosophy was a bit of a challenge, I think a nice lacy border punch is on my wish list. And I need a bow somewhere. What do you think?
